Nottingham Trent University January-May 2025

While at Nottingham Trent University, I completed a series of projects following NTU’s animation program. These included a collaborative project to conceptualize and pitch a TV series to active industry professionals Tim Searle, Seyi Odusanya, and Evgenia Golubeva, with a workshop led by Elena Wurlitzer. My group and I pitched a series called Finnie and Gills, a children’s show inspired by the actual organization Sea Shepherds.

The bulk of my time at NTU was spent creating a “micro-movie” or “five-shot-film”; an animated short which needed to tell a story in exactly five shots. Three and a half months were spent completing Set in Stone, my short film, under the instruction of Robert Sczerba, Andy Love, and Jeremy Moorehead.

Still from Good Mourning, a stop-motion project from my junior year.

More About Me

When I’m not animating or drawing, I love figure skating, taking care of my bees, and hanging out with my 2 dogs and 2 cats (like my cat Gary, who likes to watch me work). I read almost any genre, from non-fiction to romance to psychological horror. When I’m away from my home in Charlotte, North Carolina, I get my animal time at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina, socializing their cats and walking their dogs.
